[Displaced Flames fan]

I thought Van Sant's remake of Psycho was surprisingly good. Probably had to do with the actors he chose, especially Vince Vaughn who was a better Norman Bates than Anthony Perkins IMO.

I loved Forest Gump. I find that movie getting dumped on a lot, not sure I understand why.

I thought Gosford Park blew chunks too. It got nominated for best picture somehow.

Titanic? It was ok...I thought the visuals of the sinking were pretty spectacular but it didn't deserve best picture...especially with Good Will Hunting, As Good As it Gets and The Full Monty nominated. They got robbed.
