When asked about having Chychrun so high, "Chychrun had the best season of any draft-eligible defenseman. People never talk about his play with Sarnia because that makes it too hard to find issues. They focus on the TPG and U18." He also adds, "Chychrun was and remains an excellent prospect with legitimate franchise potential. A bad game or two doesn't change that."
