The highlights I've seen of him, I came away really impressed with his skating, playmaking and his shot. I can't remember the last time I've seen a guy that big skate that well.

Couldn't find it, but his coach, former Flame Rocky Thompson had a great interview on the Fan about 6 weeks ago.
To me it was more of a "getting it" moment then an attitude adjustment. A polite kid that starting cluing in to what he needs to do to make a difference in the second half of the season.
He grew up relying on his size and hands to set up teammates and was happy on the perimeter. But playing with Lemieux for a few months finally clued him into having to go to the net because Lemieux never passed the puck back to him, he shot it every time.
By the end of the season he was using his size and reach (hands) to finish plays himself.
