He comes from the BCHL, so he's inherently high risk in terms of development. It can be hard to compare prospects because of the different in league quality.

He's also the second shortest player that is projected to go top 15. Only Keller is shorter, if I'm not mistaken. Jost plays an intense/hardworking style, which may lead to injury problems in the future.

While Jost is a hardworking player, his 2-way game is not great. I understand that this could be improved, but this is still a slight problem. This type of player is rather easy to find in the trade markey, draft, and free agency. Jost clearly doesn't have the skill that Nylander has. IMO, he also has less offensive skill than Brown. I don't see how people can project Jost as a top-line player.

He's smaller than Brown. He's arguably less skilled than Brown. Almost everyone has him projected to go outside of the top 10. I don't understand how people here can think he's a value pick at 6 overall. Trade down to 12, and maybe he's an option. Even then, I'd rather take Jake Bean, Keller, or any of Sergachev, Chychrun, Nylander, Brown, Juolevi. Chances are, one of them will still be there are 10-12.
One tournament doesn't make a player, but on the only stage he has had with his peers (U18s), he outscored both Brown and Nylander (while captaining his team). His plus/minus was also better if that counts for anything.

Due to lack of sample size, I don't think it is unreasonable to assume that he is the most talented of the three. Also, since he isn't used to playing at that level of competition, his performance stands out even brighter.
