Yeah Fleet command is a sweet game, I loved how it demonstrated how chaotic things can get in a hurry. Like when 10 anti ship cruise missiles show up on your radar, and those Russian ones are fast, and suddenly you've got a dozen SAMs firing and other close in weapons systems going nuts. Great interface too.
Janes was such an awesome computer game developer, its too bad they stopped. WWII fighters was way ahead of its time graphics wise, also a favourite of mine:
