Intuition leads me to think Johnny takes a slightly below value deal or just average because he wants to win. He's so humble in the interviews, he's so reserved and so loyal to the Flames it seems like he's determined to win here.
The amount of time and dedication he puts into it doesn't seem to be just for money. I bet it will be identical to Monahans.
