Now that I know he's AHL eligible and he's in tip top shape, that's a huge bonus. The AHL for Stockton offers a lot of gym and practice time, so a top prospect like Nylander doesn't need to go back to the junior grind of potting a lot of goals and riding the bus.

Even though he's in good athletic shape, he still needs mass at 6'0.5 and 179lbs. That's gym time and being closer to Flames trainers.

He's still my favorite at #6 alone due to being right handed and super fast and skilled.
