I think scenario 2 is interesting to explore. So say EDM takes Dubois. Can VAN really afford to take yet another winger? They drafted Boeser last year, Virtanen the year before. Traded for Baertschi. Will they build around wingers? I've heard Benning talk about building through defense and centre. I'm sure they love Tkachuk but they really need to find those cornerstone centres and dmen. I mean it wouldn't shock me if they took Tkachuk but I don't think it's a slam dunk. I think Benning really likes good skaters and Tkachuk is decent but not amazing.
If whoever picks fourth takes Dubois then I think any of the following could happen with Vancouver
-they take Tkachuk
-they take Brown
-they take Sergachev
-they take Juolevi
-they take Chychrun
-they trade down 1-3 spots and take one of the above
