I'm talking specifically about skateboard ramps. Not even skateboarding in general, although ollieing on pavement is pretty loud. Running around screaming and laughing is very different then periodically banging a large drum with 100lb hard polyurethane drumsticks.
As for the parks, I don't know where all the skateparks are but I can't imagine any of them are within 25 feet of someone's front/back door.
