 People have JP as a lock to be a franchise player at 3-  I'm skeptical penciling guys in that way.  For all we know, Logan Brown may be the next Thornton but bigger ( and he is still growing).  It's hard to compare because there isn't many 6'6 skilled centers in the NHL like Logan is to compare to.
 
 Personally to move up, I would give a 2nd and one of Klimchuk/ Poirier and that's about all.  Both teams get their man and Columbus gets a valued 2nd pick and a prospect.

That's highly, highly doubtful.  Their junior careers are in no way even remotely comparable.  It's like saying Jost could be the next Crosby for all we know.
