So we take a 2008 Dakota quad cab 4x4 truck on trade, and it fits what I need for a decent hobby truck, trailer tower, and winter beater. It needs a bit of work and an out of province inspection so I'm able to buy it on the cheap. So I get all the work done, and it passes. But there is this annoying noise. A rattle/ding noise. It sounds like a tiny hotel desk bell interspersed with a metallic rattle. It's coming from the back seat. It's driving me absolutely nuts and I'm almost at the point I'm gonna sell the truck it's so irritating. So enough was enough, I isolate the rattle or its Kijiji time. So tonight, by punching the back seat I kinda isolate the area. Take apart the back seat using an 8mm 1/4 inch socket and ratchet (this is the key moment). As I'm taking it apart I think "Man I wish I had my 3" wobbly extension to reach these bolts better". After I take everything apart and get closer to the noise by repeatedly punching the floor under the back seat, I find stuck in the middle of one of the metal seat hinges, a 1/4 inch drive, 3" wobbly extension that must've fell out of the guys toolbox, that was creating the noise.
I shouldn't have taken the red pill.
