Uhm................If the stadium is funded by government the money IS coming out their own bank accounts. That's how taxes work.
There are countless examples of where building a new stadium has been a huge mistake. How long did it take for Montreal to pay for the Big O? If it didn't bankrupt the city then it must have been a huge success? Is that what you are saying?
