Setting aside the beer snobbery, how is it that Ottawa is sending transfer payments to a province that is leaving $12 per case of beer on the table? Looks like beer sales in Canada are $16B; with Quebec having 1/4 the population of Canada that is about $4B. They are missing a billion dollars in tax revenue.
You new to this country? The rest of Canada is shamed into subsidizing Quebec.
