FCC2 has had two new design proposals since I started skyscraper geeking out in 2005. Both have amounted to nothing though.
Strategic bought the site that is almost at grade on 10th avenue and Macleod trail and has plans to build a tower there, working name of the development is "One".
Edit: Oh and on 10th avenue and 8th street area of Beltline the two towers that have gone up west of Mark on 10th. They were also from a capped project. Yet another one pops into my head! The Metropolitan condo on 11th avenue by the Midtown Co-op. Another grade capped one that eventually went ahead with a different design.

Also, Centre 10 office was originally to be a multi-res project known as Gateway and 2020 4 Street in Mission was capped for a while I believe.
So it's fairly common for these projects to be re-started.
