I just wish people who think we need to urgently move away from fossil fuels would take the modest step of giving up air travel. Very few people genuinely need to fly, and most people on the planet manage to go their whole life without ever getting on a plane. It's a luxury, used for such trivial purposes as vacations and promoting books. And you can promote books just as effectively via the internet.
