I suppose she's lying and doesn't believe what she said in those two paragraphs, but I kind of doubt that.
That seems to be your argument -- that not only was her gender irrelevant to how this dimwitted twerp was talking about her while she was in the room, but that she herself doesn't believe it did either, and was just deflecting.

I thought she was there as the premier of Ontario at the invitation of the premier of Alberta....you know to discuss climate change and pipelines and such.
Weird.
