Really? I think if people simply understand that the GM or whoever can't completely play their hand in public, it's pretty interesting info. You don't know everything but we certainly get a sense of things which to me makes it even more fun to speculate on what they will do, and then even more fun after the fact to look back on what they said and go, oh that's what they were alluding too.
Peoples need for instant gratification and refusal to wait to know everything is getting out of hand. It's way nicer to get a peak behind the curtain and have to read between the lines and speculate a little than not get anything.
