I've done it a few times. Not very lucrative on cheap cars, I always only ended up making a few hundred dollars but spending a lot of time fixing crap. Not worth it imo, unless you had a lot of specialty tools. Maybe would make sense for someone that had a shop, fixed cars for a living, and fixed and flipped when in their down time when the shop wasn't busy.
