The price for defencemen remains high. I thought McCann looked like a potential #2 centre, I actually liked him more than Virtanen in the games I saw. So McCann and a 2nd for a #4/5 dman? Good return for FLA IMO. As others have noted the expansion draft implications in this deal are big for both teams
Not sure if the decision would have any affect on the Canucks 1st rounder. They still should draft a centre or dman IMO
