I figured out I disliked Wasserman-Schultz after her neutering of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Of all the industries that need to be controlled properly, I'd say that the payday lending industry could use some restraint.

Wasserman Schultz is co-sponsoring a new bill that would gut the CFPB’s forthcoming payday loan regulations. She’s also attempting to gin up Democratic support for the legislation on Capitol Hill, according to a memo obtained by The Huffington Post.

Obama put Elizabeth Warren in control of the CFPB to help stop predatory payday lenders and the like, but the GOP has done their best to kill their effectiveness, and then you have Wasserman-Schultz joining right in and gutting the legislation so it doesn't really change anything.

I won't miss her if she's replaced.
