Oh wow...
Spoiler!
I'm shocked that Michele beat Aubry. But I don't think she is undeserving at all, there's no such thing as an undeserving winner in Survivor. I thought Aubry was owning the final tribal and her answers were great, but she probably didn't have that connection with the jury that Michele had. Honestly though when Aubry survived the fire-making challenge, I thought she had the win in the bag. She lost two of her closest allies, played a strong social game, controlled the strategy after the merge, and battled hard in challenges, so I am wondering how the jury didn't see that.
If Neal was in there he would have made a big speech advocating for Aubry, but I think Michele still wins.
This is probably my favorite season so far though, beats out the original Brawns/Brains/Beauty.
edit - more thoughts:
The edit was just very confusing. Since Michele had won, they should've showcased her gameplay more. It felt like it was setup for Aubry to win.
As viewers we don't have the info that the jury has. I had to guess what was the deciding factor, it was probably that Michele built better bonds with everyone else and the perception that Aubry had Joe as her puppet didn't help either.
