I feel like there are some holes that have formed in the story line this season.. but I think that is the price they have to pay to advance the story the way they want to. It was pretty cool to see Sansa and Jon reunited, I was shocked when the doors opened and there she was.
Only way to bring jon into the conflict?

Ramsay is a gong show who will murder anyone at any time. The umbers may prefer to have the starks, or themselves lead the north. Rickon might be collateral damage unfortunately.
