"Every team is looking for size and skill down the middle, and this huge specimen has every tool in the book to be a dominant pro centre. Has very good mobility for such a big young kid, and added leg strength will give him a great stride. Has excellent vision and is an imaginative playmaker with soft, quick hands. Long reach and wide frame make him impossible to move off the puck. Can create off the rush or the cycle. We’d like to see a bit more intensity from him."

He’s a wonderfully imaginative passer who sees the whole ice and makes rocket home run passes up the seams, and is an excellent distributor on the PP. Can carry the puck out of the zone and make plays under pressure. Head is always on a swivel looking to make plays. Shows great stamina and logs a ton of high leverage minutes - coaches trust him in all situations. Always in the proper position defensively."
