1. I moved into my house last spring. The pervious owner apparently didn't care about the brand new lawn and it showed. Last fall I put on the Scott's fall fertilizer, as well as spread a bunch of seed. The lawn came in beautiful this year.

I would wait though until the grass is a little more brown. No need to water; the snow will take care of that for you.
