Hey all. I posted some time ago that I was moving to Edmonton. Just thought I would share my first 6 months in Oil town.
First off, we are renting in a community called Inglewood, which is very similar to Forrest Lawn. I did not know this when we rented.
Work is good for my wife and I. And we have purchased a house in the far SE, a community called Tamarack.
The one thing that I am very surprised/happy with, is the vast majority of Edmontonians are very friendly. They do wear sweat pants galore, and the orange and blue is so putrid. But sheite, they are nice.
We move into our new place in June, then can relax and enjoy the rest of the summer.
