I ended up getting the Dura-Ace WH-9000 C24 CL Clincher Wheelset, and the SRAM PG 1070 cassette from probikekit.ca for $1,025 CAD. Canada Post correctly did not charge me duty, and only charged me 5% GST. They did their own FX conversion and based the GST on $940 CAD, which was nice.
When I was doing my research into the rims, the guy at my LBS said that I'd notice the difference immediately, like in the first few pedal strokes. I put them together on Monday afternoon, and I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't tell any difference. I guess I was expecting there to be a motor or something on them. I've commuted on them the last three days, and did my laps of Stanley Park last night. I plugged my Garmin into my computer, and was astonished with the results. I smashed some personal records. On my two hour bike ride last night I got 43 personal trophies. It likely would have been higher, but I was waiting for my friends on the last three laps at the peak each time. Strava gives you your top times for segments, and in some of the segments my top 3-4 times were all from yesterday, as I was doing laps.
On the bike I didn't feel like they were that different, but the results certainly show they were much better. I'm excited to go for some longer rides and see how I/they perform.
