Personally I have no issue with it being the end of Ortio in Calgary.
If we went the route of a younger goalie like a Vasilevski, Murray, Pickard, etc then I would prefer to have a veteran on a 1 or 2 year contract to help bridge the gap.
Going into a season with one of those young goalies, and Ortio with no veteran support could end up being a mistake.
Especially since Ortio has had some problems starting seasons strong in the past.
