I feel really confident with our current management group. Treliving, Conroy, Pascall, and Burke is a great group full of experience and various background knowledge.
Also, our scouting staff has been great ever since they've been allowed to do their job (after Sutter left). Monahan, Gaudreau, Bennett, Brodie, Ferland, Janko, Mangiapane, Hickey, Andersson, Kylington, Gillies and the Hamilton trade. There's a lot of late round value in that group. We don't need 1st overalls to build our team. And with 10 picks this draft (5 in the top 90) we have lots of ammo to do what we want.
I am not worried that we will trade a mid 1st and high second for an AHL dman (HAHA Oilers).
I'm excited to see them work their magic on draft day, whether that be trading down or picking their BPA at #6. The draft can't come soon enough!
