Treliving needs to make a statement in the hiring of his coach. Hiring either Carlyle or Yeo would not be considered "making a statement". I would rather see a brash, perhaps unconventional, move.
And after he gets his coach he then needs to make a statement on getting a bonafide NHL goalie. If he nails these two areas, he will have done a major part in improving his team!
