Also for those who heard Brian Burke talk to Fan 590 in Toronto he mentioned a few times that personnel decisions also was a factor in the firing. Management wanted some of the tougher guys being utilized more often is what I remember.
Is Burke suggesting that Bollig get more playing time? Outside of Derek Engl, Bollig and Ferland we don't have too much toughness so I could only draw the conclusion that he wanted more of Bollig since he sat for a good chunk of the year. Is this really part of the strategy to get us to the promised land??

This is not what I got out of it. He did mention issues with player management but separately mentioned needing to be a heavier style of team.
That being said I didn't like how much he regurgitated wanting to be a heavier team. You need a mix of skill and size and he seemed to have tunnel vision on the size aspect. I think Treliving is more balanced - at least in his interviews.
