Salary Cap - $74.0 million
Total Against - 71.0 million
Cap space - $3.0 million
- Perron adds a right hand shot to the top line, and some grit & agitating qualities. He's skilled and compliments elite players well, should be a solid fit.
- Brouwer adds size and grit/physicality to the top 9, and also another right hand shot
- Goaltending should upgraded significantly, especially if the new coach can instill better team defense and more Flames puck possession
- 4th line should be big, speedy, physical and hard to play against
- On D the hope would be that Jokipakka/Wotherspoon/Nakladal play well enough to push Engelland down the depth chart. There is cap space to add another solid Dman via UFA however, like Polak, Schenn, Trotman, Schlemko, etc
