Also important to note that Logan Brown is on a team with 4 50+ point players (one of which has 90). Monahan was the only player with more than 40 points on this team, and he almost doubled everyone else in points. He had virtually no linemates.

These are important notes - I always look to see where a player fits on the team relative to total points, and how high he is relative to his teammates.
However, to be fair, Monahan was a much more mature player who many thought might be NHL-ready - and then he goes and proves that he was.
Everything I have read states that Brown is heading back to junior and will need a couple of seasons before he turns pro. Physically I can see it - he is pretty thin still.
There are people who also think that guys who are underdeveloped physically but are doing really well have just that much room to grow. There are a lot of arguments that seem to go rather circular. That is why watching the player is the way to go whenever possible, but yeah.. there is a lot to consider.
