If were evaluating Hartley on the decisions he made, then Treliving is in the same boat and he failed on the undisputed #1 issue the Flames had this year.

You are assuming that there was a good deal to be made for a goaltender. I have no doubt Treliving could have added a goaltender before the deadline, but at what cost? If he didn't see a deal to be made that he thought was worth the cost of acquisition, shouldn't that be a positive that he didn't make a move?
