What an eventful episode! I knew the death of Balon Greyjoy was coming (stupid spoilers talking about how the Iron Islands select a new leader this season) and expected Roose Bolton to die but didn't think any of it would happen in Episode 2. Also, the final scene was done very well. The way Ghost reacted made me think Jon's soul was kept alive in his direwolf but maybe I'm reading too much into it.
Although the Iron Islands seems like a horrible place to live I appreciate their democratic leadership process. Here's to hoping Westeros becomes a Federal Republic or at least a Constitutional Monarchy by the end of the series.
Also, to bring up the only boring part of the episode, Braavos, did anyone else get a bit of a Fight Club vibe from that scene? I was half expecting Jaqen to ask Arya if she had two pairs of black shirts, two pairs of black pants, one pair of combat boots, two pairs of black socks, one black jacket and $500 cash to cover burial fees.
