I'd prefer us to pick a forward with size and skill as well. However Tkachuk and PLD might be gone by the 6th pick already. Hypothetically speaking, if we could get a replica of Johnny G at the 6th pick would we not pick him because of size? As much as I'd like us to land a power forward with skill can you imagine the predicament opposition coaches would be in if they had to face another Gaudreau on our 2nd line. I've heard Treliving lately say that skill/talent is number one criteria when it comes to draft picks. I wouldn't be surprised if he trades down and picks up Clayton Keller (whilst Burke resigns) - or maybe he does the exact opposite, picks up Brown as per your wish.
