With Edmonton and Vancouver saying they are looking at a defenceman, I'd say our chances of getting Tkachuk are about 50/50. What could gum up our choice is if one or both decide they can trade down and still get their man at 7,8 or 9. If we want Tkachuk or Dubois we may be forced to overpay in a trade with one of them.
For me, at this stage, there are just too many options but if I need to, I guess I'm torn between Nylander and Chychurn. Both have top end skill while Nylander is maybe too soft and Chychurn makes poor decisions. Chychurn can learn but I don't see Nylander changing so I pick Chychurn.
