The mere suggestion that picking sixth in this one draft will relegate the Flames to mediocrity is just stupid. This is a team with unbelievable offensive firepower in Johnny and Sean, great potential in Sam and some of our other prospects, a very good defense corps, and not to mention, a new stud player at 6.
We need a goalie. That's vital. However, losing this draft won't doom us to obscurity. We are NOT the Oilers. Lottery wins are not our sustenance.
