I was home watching the game from my sofa. IIRC it wasn't that the Oil were overwhelming favourites. When Smith scored it was a while of momentary disbelief and laughter, as how could we win by such a freak goal? It was pretty tense as the clock clicked down though.

I think later some video showed the Oilers ignoring Smith for the rest of the game. He looked like a leper at the end of the bench and I felt a little sorry for him but not a lot.
