So... just a point of interest...
I sort of get the religious fanatics, who refuse treatment and "leave it in the hands of Jebus" - if he/she is meant to live, then Jebus will save him/her; if not, it's the will of Jebus. It's crazy, but at least it has a certain logic/internal consistency. With the "alternative" medicine freaks, the eye of newt/horseradish mixture clearly didn't/doesn't work, so what is their excuse/explanation? It's not like they can say "well, that's the will of Jebus". The s*** clearly didn't work, so how do they justify their view? What is the explanation that allows them to persist in this view? Where is the consistency?
