One of the very few things scarier in this world than a Cruz presidency, is a Cruz presidency with Carly as the VP. She is still spouting off about the Planned Parenthood video that was demonstrably a hoax, and yet she is either too stupid or too pigheaded to recognize it. She, along with Carson, were the two worst candidates in this process - by a country mile. Well, Huckabee is in there too I guess.
Naming her as his VP candidate reeks of not only desperation, but someone who has no clue where they are or how to get out of the hole they are in.
As for Trump... ugh. He's a moron, but is an infinitely superior candidate to Cruz. If he wins next Tuesday, it's over. Even if he doesn't win on Tuesday, he will likely be close enough for it not to matter at convention time.
The Republican Party is over as we know it. They will need to reinvent themselves, likely splintering into the wack-a-doodle Tea Party, and something that is more akin to the Republican party of old - center right as opposed to crazy right.
