Yep, the former Flame who we traded for Hunter Shinkaruk has been re-upped by the Canucks. The first few comments on the twitter page weren't exactly positive.

Post trade, Granlund had 3 points in 16 NHL games with the Canucks. Shinkaruk had 3 in 7 games with the Flames.

Would we have re-signed him in this off season? Hard to see it, given the fact we have Monahan, Bennett, Backlund and Stajan, plus Grant(possibly) and Jankowski trying to make the team. Looking like a very shrewd move on Treliving's part.
