As for Pribyl, it's completely no risk because he's not a veteran like Setoguchi, who expects a spot on the team. He's a pro signing, and still young. If he makes the team ahead of someone else, that's on them.

I think too many bodies is bad for morale, just as we saw with the goalies. When a prospect sees 15-16 forwards all on two way contacts, or otherwise waiver ineligible, the prospect knows coming into camp that there's no chance at making the team. This is why so many free agents look at depth charts when making their decision.
