The forest fire budget cuts will affect those who live in rural areas. It will put homes and livlihoods at risk.
I do not see any explanation that makes sense on these cuts aside from trying to reduce the projected deficit in a way that doesn't affect the NDP voting base.
this is simply the wrong thing to do.
