Also, to answer the second part of your response, look at Toronto. They have the Leafs in the relatively-recent ACC, but the Marlies - owned by the Leafs - are in the Ricoh.

The NLL plays 9 home games. Easier to fit them into a bulding.
So, you have NHL and NBA in ACC. Each start and end their seasons within a couple of weeks from each other. You can fit in 9 NLL home games somewhere in there. Try to add another hockey team who starts a week after NBA and plays about 38 home games. That is downright difficult.
In the Dome you have NHL and WHL, which is a somewhat similar situation to the ACC and you can still fit in the NLL but it would be tough to include another regular tenant.
