Using some of the logic in here, drafting or signing any player has "risk" associated with it.
If we were talking about signing late blooming junior or college players from Canada, I doubt anyone would be talking about "risk". Did anyone worry about the risk from sigining Jooris or Germyn?
It seems like the worriers only come out when the player is from Europe.
