Not saying you directly, but in general I dont agree with this "no risk" comment that gets tossed around on here when evaluating any and every possible signing. Setegouchi was touted on here as a great signing because it was "no risk". It wasnt a good no risk signing, Jets and Wild fans knew there was nothing left there. It was a no reward signing.

The risk is you end up with to many bodies, A) and you let go the wrong guy (Byron over Raymond), or B) prospects get buried in the minors because they are waiver eligible that may have helped the team win. (Grant etc..).
