The Atlanta Thrashers and Winnipeg Jets made a deal Friday evening. It breaks down as follows:
To Atlanta:
C - Bryan Smolinski
To Winnipeg:
C - Andrew Cassels
RW - Jordin Tootoo
D - Jamie McBain
Additional Notes: If Cassels retires in the 2006-2007 season, a 3rd round pick will be sent to the Jets.
