I count about 18 cars that got 5 star ratings in Euro NCAP in 2014:

In 2011, NHTSA made its test more stringent, as most vehicles were coming through the program with 5-star ratings. That is not the case now. And yet, Tesla Motors says that based on the overall Vehicle Safety Score provided to manufacturers, the Model S achieved a new combined record of 5.4 stars. Here's the list of sedans+coupes that have undergone crash testing using the 2011+ NHTSA standard. There are hundreds of 5 star overall ratings, somewhat fewer 5 front and side and a small number of cars that get 5 star front, side and rollover.

Separately, Tesla Motors had a roof crush test performed by an independent facility, whose machine failed before the roof was compressed. Tesla claims the proven protection is equivalent to stacking four Model S vehicles on top of the test car.

This is another example of Tesla PR blowing something that is good completely out of proportion.
If 4X weight is amazing, what does that make the Honda Odyssey which is capable of withstanding 5.87X its own weight:

I'm not saying the Model S couldn't withstand more, but crowing about breaking a machine with just 4X weight is pure PR since essentially every new vehicle today will withstand 4X its own weight.

Because the NCAP is more rigorous than the prior system, most of the 30 vehicles tested have seen their star ratings drop. In fact, the only two 2011 models to retain five-star safety ratings are the BMW 5 Series and Hyundai Sonata

NHTSA is testing done by the US government agency, NCAP is done by the Europeans. By 2014 many cars were capable of 5 star ratings in both though due to different markets you'll only find some vehicles well tested in both.
