Wow, is anyone watching the "first impression: the Mark Shapiro story"? It's certainly building a narrative, if not preparing fans for what's to come, lol.
So far it's - everyone in Toronto hates Shapiro and that's not fair and hard on him and his family - He's known for moving out huge pieces for futures, but look how it worked back then!!!!!
This and that David Price piece were so blatantly Roger's trying to "set the record straight" and saying what they wanted to say to try to get the fans on board with what's coming after this season.
"there will be huge challenges......managing fan expectations.......and he will be hated again". "You ask anyone who the best guys in baseball are and everyone has Shapiro at number one".
