There seems to be a fundamental schism between people who are selective with their merchandise and people who will buy every single jersey design the Flames put out, to each their own I guess. But I'll throw my hat in with people who will never, ever, ever buy a stupid soccer style jersey

Couple of points
1. Why is this discussion only euro style jerseys or nothing? We all know it isn't going to be that so why keep bringing it up? Nba is the best comparison. With their giant corporate sellout 2.5" x 2.5" patches.
2. Why is it people who are mindless idiots who buy everything and sophisticated selective geniuses are the only two options?
Let's be honest for most people some little patch about half the size of the provincial flag on the front or back of the jersey is likely to make little or no difference. Especially since it likely will not be on consumer products, just the official team jerseys, so unless you are buying game worn jerseys it won't matter.
3. Why don't the current reebok, nhl, etc ads not bother you? If you have a flames hat it probably has a Nike or reebok or new era etc logo on it. Those are ok but not Samsung? Why?
I keep seeing all these soccer, euro hockey and F1 comparisons. Fact is none of them are remotely accurate comparisons.
